What does Oppo know about Thailand? Mrs. Snuze and I are going and meeting up with my Sister and Brother-In-Law over Thanksgiving. Were going to be in Phuket and Chiang Mai. The BIL and I are going to do some scuba diving. Other than that we're wide open for ideas.

One of my colleagues went there recently and he and his friends rented scooters/ mopeds and drove around one of the smaller islands . Said it was a lot of fun. Obviously not recommended in more populated areas I would say.

Phuket is nice. We stayed about 45 minutes out of town at a beach resort. Go out to the Phi Phi Islands. They are beautiful. The food is amazing. Buy travel insurance, including evac, if you are going diving. DAN has good rates.

My sister was there to hike some mountain and said renting scooters/motorcycles is the way to go.
